I am worried about my mother?

My mom just told me that she has been bleeding from the bowels for about two years. it happens about 4 times a month. she was in tears saying that she does not want to die. I was going to take her Straight to the hospital last night. but she would not let me she is worried she might have cancer. She said that if I make a appointment for her on monday she will go. I know you not doctors but if anyone has had this and knows what it might be that would help. I searched the internet and got nothing. she also has hemorrhoids and thinks they might be bleeding. its red blood so its not internal bleeding as it would be black. My mom also drinks every day and is always drunk when I call her. She is a alcoholic and its a illness but I think its caught up with her. She is also a heavy smoker so I don't think things look good for her. She is also very thin about 110 pounds and is 51 years old. She is also going threw menopause too.I know I cant make her stop drinking or smoking but I don't want to lose her. She is to young to die please I am in tears right now. Monday seems to far away.
