Messed up TV? Plzzz Helppp!?

So my brother tried to turn the tv on, and it wudnt work so he smashed it with the remote. and then the on got stuck. so he started crying and told me to fix it cuz he was scared we were going to get in trouble. So i tried fixing it, and the on just came of and fell into the tv. how to get it back? is this a really big problem or is it just a minor one? and my parents are out. plz help theyll be back any second.
