How would you improve this situational poem?

Hey girl don't let things keep you down. Easy to say, I know I have my share as I guess we all do. I miss this place cause life is a crazy race during the days of summer. I can't wait for things to slow and I can enjoy all friends and even foe's cause they too somehow are apart of my life. Today is my birthday I am 56 and my youngest daughter is 16 and I know I'm blessed but I'm also very very tired in regards to things that I have learned but am not allowed to p on because I am not heard.
